<\/td>Exhibit: Native Americans:  A Diverse & Evolving History<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
Native Americans have inhabited Pennsylvania for more than 10,000 years.  Featuring hundreds of authentic Native American artifacts, this exhibition explores what archaeology tells us about the Native Americans of Eastern Pennsylvania. Exhibit and accompanying programs are sponsored in part by a grant from the Keystone Savings Foundation. <\/td><\/tr>
 <\/td>Exhibit: The American Presidency<\/em><\/u><\/strong>
This exhibition features Presidential portraits, campaign buttons, and commemorative pieces related to individual presidents such as Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy.  Exhibit and accompanying programs are sponsored in part by grants from the County of Lehigh and the Sylvia Perkin Perpetual Trust. <\/td><\/tr>
 <\/td>Exhibit: The Life & Legacy of General Harry C. Trexler<\/span><\/em>
<\/strong>Explore the inspiring life and legacy of General Harry C. Trexler, industrialist, conservationist, and philanthropist. Learn about his many interests, hobbies, and business pursuits. Discover the greatness of Harry Trexler and his wife Mary.<\/td><\/tr>
<\/td>Exhibit: Donald P. Miller: Philanthropist, Community Leader and Businessman<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
Discover the impact Don Miller made by supporting more than 200 nonprofits in the Lehigh Valley. <\/strong> Learn how he established The Century Fund <\/em>to help nonprofit organizations achieve success. View a media production about his life and legacy.

 <\/td>Exhibit: The American Revolution<\/span><\/em>
<\/strong>The American Revolution was a seminal event in world history. It created the United States and gave our country its identity.
Explore<\/strong> how the American Revolution transformed America, inspiring it with many of America’s noble ideals: commitment to freedom and liberty, equality, constitutionalism and self-government. Learn<\/strong> about the tremendous sacrifices made by ordinary people to gain independence and create a new nation.

Slide-Lecture program “Birds of the Lehigh Valley – Yesterday & Today” with Barbara Malt<\/span><\/mark><\/em><\/strong>
Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 \u2013 1 pm<\/strong>
Learn<\/em><\/strong> about many of the birds who inhabit the varied habitat of the Lehigh Valley. Discover<\/em><\/strong> where and how to see them in the Lehigh Valley and your backyard. Explore<\/em><\/strong> some of the tools for better viewing and identifying birds and how to bring more of them into your backyard.

History Expo 2026<\/span><\/mark><\/em><\/strong>
Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 \u2013 10:00 am to 4:00 pm<\/strong>
Enjoy FREE admission<\/strong> as more than 20 local history organizations, special guests Jon Provost and Laurie Jacobson, colonial music, vintage cars, children\u2019s activities, mini-tours of Trout Hall, and a new exhibit bring the past to life. The day concludes with a free outdoor concert by the Allentown Band on the museum lawn.
Additional parking for the History Expo is available behind the Allentown School District building on 31 South Penn Street, a half block from the Heritage Museum.
